Support England at the World Cup by bringing it home for Shelter

World Cup fever is kicking off. To celebrate the world’s biggest football event, Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, are teaming up with Nationwide Building Society, Official England Team Sponsor, to relaunch Strip4Shelter – a fiesta of footballing fun that brings people together to support their team – and Shelter!

By taking part in Strip4Shelter, you can help blow the whistle on bad housing and get a real result for people in desperate need. Celebrity supporters include:

Frank Skinner, comedian
"I’m calling on all you football fans, already planning to wear ‘Three Lions on your shirts’ for the World Cup period to make sure you get involved and do it for Shelter."

Stuart Pearce, ex England captain
"Not only will I be supporting the England squad this summer, but I will also be backing the Strip4Shelter campaign supported by Nationwide.
Get involved and join me in supporting Strip4Shelter and help the charity find the best result for thousands of homeless and badly housed people across the country."

Ian Wright, ex-England player

"Join me in dressing up in your football kit for one day this summer, and help Shelter work towards a brighter future for homeless and badly housed people across the country."

Tony Adams, Ex-England player
"I’ll certainly be getting my strip on, just not sure which one to wear! I’ll also be getting my kids to wear their Arsenal strip to school in support of Strip4Shelter."

  • Pay £2.00 to wear your team colours to work
