Rule variations for the World Netball Series... success or failure?

This weekend's World Netball Series in Manchester saw some interesting changes to the rules. Rolling subs, coaching from the sidelines, power play, 2 pointers from outside the circle? Did you the coverage, or were you at the MEN... what's your verdict. A new beginning for netball or a step too far?:

I really liked the new rules. The power play made it more exciting and I was there to see Rachel Dunn score the first ever 4 point shot - was amazin o))))

I think all netball should switch to this way of playin.. much more fun.. :)

I agree - the new rules made it sooo exciting. Anything that helps netball to be included in the Olympics is good i reckon.

Can''t wait to watch some more games with the new rules!

Re: Rule variations for the World Netball Series... success or failure?

i didn''t make it to Manchester but I wish I had as it sounded like good fun. Some of the rule changes are interesting but not sure they would enhance the game if they were made permanent. At elite level, I think rolling subs will probably be introduced but why shorten the quarters when netball is only one hour long?

It would be interesting to try the new rules but it sounds like they make them game a bit too frenetic.
