has anyone tried to combine backhand shots(two+one handed)? I find it helps to play two-handed for some shots i.e. high bounced balls and one-handedn for others i.e.passing shots.
I always hit them two handed. it just helps me keep the control and accuracy of the shot much better. I used to hit them one handed but it was too unreliable so I changed.
I’m a two hander as well. tried to model my technique on murray’s backhand as his seems pretty tight. the ball goes all over place when i try a one handed backhand
I can control topspin much better with two handed. Didn’t have the shoulder strength to be confident hitting them single handed so I changed my game. Pretty happy with it although do find it a bit limiting on wide balls.
