In this exercise video we’re going to look at an exercise that will warm up the flexor muscles in your lower body. It will help flex your groin, hips and ankles.

Starting from a comfortable standing position, walk forward lifting your weight onto the toes of your standing foot. At the same time raise your other leg up and use your arms to pull in your knee into your chest and your ankle to about the height of your hip. Then release and walk forward onto the opposite standing foot and repeat the exercise. Concentrate on keeping your head up and back straight through the exercise, this will also help your balance as you lift onto your toes.
