In this exercise video we’re going to look at the power skip, an exercise you can use as in your warm up, or as one of a circuit of exercises as part of your fitness program. The power skip will help warm up muscles in your lower and upper body. If you’re training for the first time, you might find that coordinating opposite arms and legs is a challenge, but you’ll soon get the hang of it. To begin with jump with a lower intensity and then build up gradually to larger jumps and arm swings. Concentrate on maintaining your balance through each skip.
