In this guide we’re going to look at the hold and lunge drill, which you can do with the help of a team mate. You can use this drill as part of your dynamic warm up, as part of a physical conditioning session, or as a station exercise in circuit training.

It’s a great drill for netball players because it replicates the hold and lunge action which is used by shooters in the circle. It also helps build core and lower body strength and flexibility so it’ll help you reach wide passes more comfortably and with a more secure base.
