If you’re looking to improve your reactions then this drill will help you work on your speed of response to passes and loose balls.

To set up this drill you need to have one feeder with a ball, with the working player standing a short distance in front of them. The worker needs to be facing away from the feeder so that they cannot see which pass is released.

Key Points:

Point 1:
The worker should concentrate on making a quick turn and drive onto the ball and gather it with outstretched arms.
Point 2:
The feeder can try increasing the distance of the passes out to the left and right.
Point 3:
You can try a set of 20 or 30 feeds and then switch around so that the feeder becomes the worker.
Point 4:
The feeder should keep the passes competitive and challenging for the worker.
