The Dumbbell Bench Press works your chest muscles and is alternative to the standard bench press, working slightly different muscles and adding an extra degree of difficulty, requiring you to control your arm movements as you push up.

Key Points:

  1. Keep your shoulder blades squeezed together and spine in a neutral position.
  2. Lower the dumbbells in line with the bottom of your chest and control your movements in both the upward and downward phase.
  3. Try to return the weights to the same start position for each repetition.
